Personal Maintenance: Staying Happy In Trying Times
"When times get tough, as they sometimes do...carry your mind back to a happier time!"
Yours truly is here giving THANKS for another day! Is it easy? No...but is it worth it? YES! If you pay enough attention to the media, the world will have you thinking that taking risks is bad, and that we need to protect ourselves from everyone and every thing!! Live a life you LOVE...not a life that you FEAR!!
I currently live in a "bubble" for the next few months and to some extent, it's helping to heal my energy. You have to protect your bubble of positivity and live a life of HOPE. If your surround yourself with too many people sometimes, you can find yourself in a situation where you're trying to please people, and lose sight of who you really are.
I'm currently on a social media purge. That means that I've taken time to remove myself from certain outlets, with the intention of preserving my energy. I don't talk about it much on my outlets, but with time, your intuition will tell you that not everyone is happy about the fact that you're happy. So that being the case...you have to fight extra hard every day...to keep that bubble of positivity in your life!! I decided to social media purge yesterday, when after a week of discovering who was sick, and who's relationship was ending...started taking a toll on me. It was drawing my energy down...and I thought that for this week...I would clean my mind of such things and allow myself to dwell on happy thoughts about health and happiness. For grins I did the following:
1) Change my Whatsapp picture to a picture of Jesus. Why did I do this? For protection actually. In your life...if you've ever listened to anyone...they'll tell you that there is a protective power in the name and image of Jesus. I'm not making this up. This is a TRUTH of life. Jesus is revered and his presence is healing. There are some people from work on Whatsapp and I tend to have dreams about them. I discovered that I was being watched on this medium...so instead of placing pictures of myself all happy and cute on the beach in Portland (we'll leave that for Instagram), so that they can hate on me subconsciously...I decided to place a picture of Jesus...lolololol. I find that I now sleep better since I did this.
2) Play happy music: If you're in a funk, you need to raise your vibration. Find some healing music if you have to. Listen to some Yanni, Enya, and lately...(forgive me Beyonce...I was sleeping on this) I discovered the SPIRIT song. When I listen to this...I get chills. All of a sudden, any negative energy that I've been carrying dissipates. Music heals and has a vibration of healing. Many persons who have had ailments, have healed with the power of music. We are more than physical, manage your energy through music.
3) Take yourself away from a situation: If the environment is triggering your low energy, take the time to remove yourself from the environment. Go on a vacation, go for a walk, go shopping, just take your mind away from the situation and you'll find yourself in a situation where you're elevated and focused on what you want instead of what you don't want.
Your positivity, is worth you protecting. You'll discover in life, that unless you do this, you'll be wondering why you feel so energetically low. It's because there's something or someone draining you that you either are or are not aware of. When you're in a relationship, it will be very important for you and your partner to be in synch with each other. The most important relationship is a marriage relationship. With intimacy involved, there is a bonding of souls, so be careful to ensure to ensure that you and your significant other are aligned in all things. When it comes to your relationships, it will be important for you to ensure that you take the time for each other. Don't let your career, your children and life dissolve what's important. Love is what matters. Maintain it.
